i really enjoy this type of illustration. this is promotional art for a card game called cardfight vanguard. what i like most about this is the use of color. there isn't much use of harsh blacks even though its a dark image, instead purples and blues are combined to create a shadow effect. plus in contrast to these dark colors, bright almost neon shades of blu, orange and purple are used to divert eyes all round the image.
