Turning a walk cycle into run cycle

Heres the original walk cycle time frame i was working with. 

 i wanted to turn it int a run cycle so  had to divide the original time frame by a certain amount. to make him run really fast i decided to cut the cycle by half the time frame.

here you can see the frame rate after i altered it. since i decided to half the time of the walk cycle you can see the i divded the fps by 2. so frame 10 then become frame 5, however i made the next frame even smaller so show him gathering speed. i think that my increased understanding of frame rates helped me ratio out the run cycle.
