Saiman Chow
i like this aniamtion by Saiman Chow because of the contrasting elements and themes within the animation. the animation features a cute panda teddy that lives in a cute nice home with a peaceful setting with family photos. However in sharp contrast there is the dark themes of suicide,death, violence and drinking and smoking. Also the black and white offset to the animation also creates a dark atmosphere.

This is the opening teaser trailer to cartoon network's new animation Gumball. The cartoon's background is done in 2D however the characters feature many different animation techniques for each individual character. Some characters are rotascoped, 3D. plastersine models, toys and digital 2d animation.

A 2d digital animation, it's visual aesthetics are appealing and the soft tones make it appealing to me. i prefer soft tones to harsh bright colors. it gives the animation more feeling in my opinion and the story is portrayed more easily because it makes you think more because you subconsciously think that there is a hidden meaning.

A 3d animation with 2d elements. The character designs are interesting and the use of color really makes them stand out. contrasting and partner colors are used such as blue and orange and purple. i like the narrative in the story how they made something so easy such as delivering a parcels really complicated with these characters fighting it out and making it look like a competitive sport. the use of color in this makes it very appealing to me and i love the faces of the characters ho they are so simply yet create so much personality in the characters,
